Recovery is an extremely crucial part of having a consistently healthy lifestyle. Injuries and muscle tension are bound to occur whether you’re 18 or 80. Part 1 of the Recovery Series is all about how to find muscular tension and knots. What do knots feel like? How do I find them? Where are the most common places for knots to occur? What’s the best way to release knots? How should it feel while I’m working on a particular area? All of these questions and more will be answered at the workshop. We will start off working in partners to find each others problem areas and learn how to "feel" where tension is and isn’t. So please bring a partner if you aren’t comfortable with somebody else practicing recovery techniques on you. Part 1 is going down Wednesday, November 11th from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Class size will be limited to 12 people and tickets are $25 prepaid or $30 at the door. This Workshop series is easily appropriate for all fitness levels. Whether your extremely immobile or a phenomenal mover, knowing how to "feel" and find your own problem areas is a huge asset to have.
