Jonathan Sloan

Owner, Manager/Operator, Personal Trainer

I have worked with people from all walks of life, from grandmothers all the way to collegiate athletes. I have developed my own unique approach to training. My thinking is simple, if you don’t use it, you lose it. I want to get you moving efficiently again, greatly reduce your risk of injury, and get you eating the way your body, individually, is programmed to eat.

Dallas native, fitness practitioner, entrepreneur, former D-1 basketball player, rock climber, and gym rat. I graduated Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science and a Minor in Business.

Alexandru Florea

Personal Trainer

My name is Alex Florea, a native of Romania, so my accent can be either cool or annoying. But my knowledge is universal! My background is in gymnastics. I earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Physical Education and have been in the coaching, training, and teaching field for over 20 years. My philosophy is this: Engage 100%, stay busy, focus to detail, and consider every workout a gift for your body and soul. My favorite saying: Fitness is not a destination, it is a way of life! Take the journey!

Emily

Yoga Instructor

I began Yoga as a journey to try and feel better about how I looked. Little did I know Yoga would become the single most steady practice in my life. Yoga has helped me cure my own personal demons, by calming my natural anxiety, and has cured what used to be frequent panic attacks. It helped me to forgive myself, and see the world in all its beauty. I teach so that I can bring that same feeling of peace to others, and remind myself of my own journey every time I step into the classroom.

Bethany Burnside

Yoga Instructor

I am a Dallas native and a local yoga and movement enthusiast. I have a heavy background in dance, yoga, contact improv, and physical theatre. My yoga journey began in 2014 as a way of combatting my anxiety and I quickly fell in love with the movement, creativity, and spirituality that yoga provided me. My mat was my space where I could be free to move and feel and be without judgement. So, I got my 200-hour certification in August of 2017 and I never looked back. My yoga philosophy is to breathe through the challenges. The way that you approach your mat is the way that you approach your life. So I encourage you to be kind to yourself and your body while also taking on new challenges and breathing through the difficult moments. I look forward to meeting you on the mat.
